Savinho Requests Man City Exit – Tottenham His Clear Top Choice

Savinho has officially informed Manchester City he wants to leave this summer – with Tottenham Hotspur firmly his preferred destination as he seeks regular first‑team football. The 22‑year‑old Brazilian winger communicated his decision to club chiefs this week, stating he needs consistent minutes to keep progressing at this stage of his career.

Tottenham have targeted Savinho since May, and manager Roberto De Zerbi rates him as the ideal fit for his attacking style – capable of playing left or right wing, with explosive pace and one‑on‑one ability. Personal terms were agreed in principle some time ago, removing a major hurdle. Talks between the two clubs centre around a fee of £60 million, potentially rising to £65 million with performance‑related add‑ons.

The deal now rests entirely with Manchester City. They are open to selling but will only sanction the move once they have lined up a suitable replacement in their wide‑attack ranks. Savinho signed a new long‑term contract with City until June 2031 last October, but slipped down the pecking order last season – making 36 appearances across all competitions, scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists.

Tottenham have set a timeline to avoid delays, with reports suggesting they want a final answer before the weekend or will turn to alternative targets. AC Milan and Roma have also shown interest but remain well behind in the race.
