Reports have emerged linking Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford with a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur — though no formal bid, enquiry or negotiations have taken place between the clubs or the player’s representatives as of this morning.
The 28‑year‑old academy graduate is set to return to Old Trafford after Barcelona declined to activate their permanent purchase option, instead signing Anthony Gordon from Newcastle. His previously reported £40 million release clause expired on 15 July, meaning any transfer fee must now be agreed directly between United and the buying club.
Media outlets including talkSPORT and Football.London claim manager Roberto De Zerbi is an admirer of Rashford’s style and believes he could revive his form in north London.
