Paris Saint‑Germain have reached a full agreement with Serie A side Parma to sign highly‑rated Japan international goalkeeper Zion Suzuki for a total package worth €35 million (approx £30 million), confirmed by Fabrice Hawkins and Fabrizio Romano.
PSG initially tabled an offer of €33 million which was rejected, before improving their bid to meet Parma’s valuation to get the move over the line. Suzuki will sign a five‑year contract running until June 2031.
Although joining PSG, Suzuki is not expected to be part of Luis Enrique’s immediate starting plans — with Gianluigi Donnarumma firmly established as the club’s number one. Instead, PSG plan to loan him straight out for regular game time, with Juventus named as the leading candidate to take him on a season‑long loan in Serie A. The transfer is viewed as a smart long‑term investment, securing one of the brightest young goalkeeping talents in world football to develop and grow for the future of the club.
