Liverpool have had a £50 million bid rejected by Brighton & Hove Albion for winger Yankuba Minteh as the Reds step up their search for attacking reinforcements.
The 22-year-old Gambia international has emerged as a serious target for Liverpool, who are looking to strengthen their options on the right wing.
Brighton Reject £50m Liverpool Bid
Liverpool have now made their interest concrete by submitting an offer worth £50,000,000 for Minteh.
Brighton have rejected the proposal and are currently reluctant to lose the winger, meaning Liverpool would need to return with an improved offer if they want to take negotiations further.
Minteh is reportedly keen on a potential move to Anfield if Liverpool and Brighton can reach an agreement over the transfer fee.
